The Ship – The Black Dog Alabama
The Black Dog Alabama is a long time symbol of Martha’s Vineyard. Built in 1926, the Schooner Alabama has been harbored in Vineyard Haven since 1967. It is an authentic Gloucester Schooner designed by world renowned Thomas F. McManus. Cruising on this all wind powered classic New England vessel is an experience like no other.
The Breweries – Brooklyn Brewery & 21st Amendment
Brooklyn Brewery is a highly acclaimed Craft Brewery from Brooklyn, New York. Producing fine craft brews since 1988. One of the brewery’s most recent achievements is a 1st Place Gold Award for Brooklyn Lager at the World Beer Cup for Best American Style Amber Lager.
We will have Brooklyn Lager, Naranjito – Orange Fruited Pale Ale & Brooklyn Pilsner
21st Amendment Brewery is a very popular West Coast Craft Brewery known for their great brews and colorful artistic cans. The brewery’s name comes from the 21st Amendment of the US Constitution that repealed prohibition on Dec. 5th, 1933. Based out of San Francisco, CA 21st Amendment Brewing is widely available in most of the US.
On board we will have Brew Free or Die IPA, Down to Earth, Hell or High Water Melon, Blood Orange Brew Free & Blah Blah Blah Double IPA
The Music – Mike Martin Acoustic Reggae Session
Mike Martin of Mike Martin y Los RootSticks will be performing an acoustic Reggae session LIVE aboard the ship. Mike is a long time favorite of the island with accolades including opening for The Wailers, Toots and the Maytals and many more.
